when I look at my
infatuation.

tiptoeing on a line,
that if I cross I’ll

i need to avert my gaze.
at my own girlfriend.

smiling,
winking…
is it wrong that I
feel nothing?
she’s safe.
she’s…
insurance.
i look back at
brandon.
no one in this backwoods town
would ever accept me for…
NO
i’m not that.
i could never be
