The ‘Metro’ Rulers

The ‘Metro’ Rulers

written by: Naleenee Mohan

Crossing over the man-made overpass,
Vexed at the man-made signals to cast.
Grouchy with self-chosen regime,
Reaching destination, he puts them all in a steam.

‘Ah! The aroma,’ he felt for the bias.
Silicone ladies and men flirtatious,
Waiting to grab, make him their factotum,
oh, how gracious!

“Do you have any experience?” asked one of them.
“Sir I am born to be here” replied the indolent serf.
“You have been selected, Congratulations!”
Up he jumped excited with their words,
After all he is a recognized symbol of the free world!
“Thank you,” he brays with elation.

Let’s wish us all, to have more of these.
And not the zombies as they freeze.
