The Modern Whisper

Oh thou, the fundamental bass,
symphonize my words
At rush of tripping close of day
In the disappearance of sound
And whispers then sway around my lips
tingling me all, afar-
beyond the bounds of common joy!
Darkness runs through darkness
I am kept from scary dread
To be ushered to a wide grin
Fearless to smile, daring to win
the strings of tune
taken form in the invisible
by the murmurs of our lips’ duet!
