The President of Everything

The President of Everything

The President of Everything
Is never satisfied
Until someone is miserable
Unless something has died

The President of Everything
Needs to make repairs
There’s something wrong with everything
Just because it’s there

The President of Everything
Follows his own bliss
It tells him he’s invincible
No matter where he is

The President of Everything
Wants to settle down
And open up a body shop
In the heart of Tangy Town

The President of Everything
Never likes to feel
So he numbs himself with ecstasy
And evens out his keel

The President of Everything
Is always in the know
He likes to keep his business clean
And his maids all in a row

The President of Everything
Loves all his possessions
He dusts them in afternoon
When Congress is in session

The President of Everything
Is gracious to a fault
And everybody blushes
When he passes them the salt
