The Prize

The Prize

written by: Tom Mach

I traded stares with Mousey
Lasted two seconds
I moved
He moved
Scurried to the kitchen
To his death
Because he wanted the cheese
And I wanted him
Some folks want the cheese
But I avoid their trap.
