one time
in the deli

we were in the sink, learning about the water
the eye was the rainbow of thought and thoth

I was operating the machine of the daydream
I was eating a news egg at the lantern party

sitting with a moth
watching the mirrored clock of the stew

the standing hand of the world
the horned apple of the pirated seeds
