The Question

The Question

written by: Osne

regret does not come as a choice,
while choosing is not the freedom it purports,
withheld between the senses and the truth
no other but a selfless will to break one through
the infinite that builds into itself in transit
of lives unravelling as pasts or presents at the edge of why,
seeking to question rather than to move in silence,
you walk,
steps parting sand grains drifting with the wind.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Inspired by the sounds of ‘Hold this place’ by Alice in Winter, Adrian Walther, Chelsea McGough.
