Those Words

Written by: Enzonia

I hold your hand in the park,
Cuddle me hard in the dark.
And I’ll dream of the day,
That you will say
Together
The two of us
Those words

I took your warm hand, and never asked why.
Tall, dark and handsome; short, pretty and fair,
I don’t know, I just got lost in your hair.
And I don’t know what you see
in my eyes.

I could lie in your arms, forever or more,
Your heart beating beneath me, time passing by.
You’re my better half, so to you what am I?
I keep turning back before I get
to the door.

Cause all of the world is dreaming of someone like you
But now without you I don’t know what I would do

Cause you deserve better than me
But I don’t want you to see.

Together
The two of us
Those words

So hold me down, I’ll hold you back,
And kiss me hard, I’ll kiss you back.
I’ll hold your hands as we walk through the park,
And whisper your name as we hug in the dark.

I’ll dream of the day
I deserve to say
Together
The two of us
Those words
