I’m sitting here
And I don’t know what to say
About the things
That made me who I am today
I don’t wanna dwell in the past
I don’t wanna worry about tomorrow
I just wanna take off this mask
And stop trying to hide my sorrow

I haven’t got much time
To be who I am right now
So I’m gonna use that time
In the best way I know how

So I’ll write a poem
And I’ll write a song
And I’ll keep learning
what’s right and wrong.
