I’m moved he found the time
to come and give me a hug
yesterday
I saw him before I went to sleep
smiling that million-dollar smile
so gentle and warm
as he knew I’m one of his people
visions and sounds
that’s what counts
that’s where goes
the beat of our hearts
when we die
