Mighty Forts

Mighty Forts

written by: Benjamin Nambu

Cross oceans, go far like a hitsong
Tossed ashore, torn and lost
Yet rise again, sail on with what’s left
Moored to this foggy port
Rust is what you’ll become for all the trust
Possibilities and confidence in your capabilities

Soar above these mighty forts
Pour all efforts into this course
Mourn the death of years of scorn
Exchange shackles of shame for feats of faith
Stage a massive return to fame
