Waiting

Waiting

written by: Tony Adah

Eagerly the days crawl or race
To where the wind blows
Time ripens for the hen’s cloacae
To be seen.
When the storm comes
Those with derelict houses
Will quiver, street dwellers only bend
Like rice in Bansara farms
Unbend after the storm’s breath.
