Where is The Peace

It’s time to move and time to grow
It’s time to forget and time to flow
It’s time to say and time to show
It’s time for peace and time for letting go
In time we have found ourselves in love
In time we have lost ourselves in sorrow
In time we have to believe, to believe in each other
In time we have to forgive the wrongs of our brothers
I don’t want to blame the world anymore
Or try to explain away the things I shouldn’t have done
I just want to grow to be a better man
And give my hand to those who are down
If we all work together and give each other space to live
I’m sure we could make this world a better place to be
I don’t want to hear another mother’s cries
At the loss of her children to hate and greed
So, I ask, why are we staying quiet,
While the innocent are being brought to their knees
It’s time to move and time to grow
