Whispers in The Night

Whispers in The Night

written by: Angelica Steel

In shadows deep, where silence weeps,
A girl recalls the choice she made,
Her dreams are haunted, the sorrow creeps.
A lullaby of loss, as daylight sleeps,
The spirit calls from the edge of shade,
In shadows deep, where silence weeps.
Soft echoes linger, the heart it keeps,
Each whispered name, a memory played,
Her dreams are haunted, the sorrow creeps.
Through gentle hands, the heartache seeps,
In moonlit void, this debt unpaid,
In shadows deep, where silence weeps.
A cradle once, now only sleeps,
In every tear, the ghost arrayed,
Her dreams are haunted, the sorrow creeps.
Yet love, though lost, forever leaps,
An aching truth that will not fade,
In shadows deep, where silence weeps,
Her dreams are haunted, the sorrow creeps.
