Greece, cradle of Democracy.
The birthplace of Socrates, Aristotle, Plato and Homer; Archimedes, Pythagoras and Hippocrates. The land of the Spartan 300. The ancestors of the Gods of Olympus reduced to 60 Euros a day.
Is their radical leftist government to blame? Has it been their lack of fiscal responsibility? Or is their a collusion by the heads of the governing body of the European Union to force Greece out of the EU while Putin waits behinds curtains ready to pounce?
Is it one or more, or all of the above?
These questions are all debatable but one thing is indisputable; it does not serve Europe or the free democratic world any purpose to allow Greece to be torn asunder. The result will be instability and a “committee” of Vultures vying to pick off the remains.
Greece is in crisis! Tourist mecca and cultural icon of the world reduced to 60 Euros a day.
