“I have loved you for centuries.” Eohric proclaims. “How can I believe you?” she steps back. He points to her chest, “Your birthmark is in the shadow of your breasts.” Shocked her hands touch the same spot. “It’s a sword pointing down.”
“How?” she asks. His eyes lower and tears sprinkle the silver in his eyes. “Because you were killed by sword blade.”
“I am not dead,” she protests. Looking into her emerald eyes, “A long time ago my Cori.”
