Nature’s Simple Perfection

Nature’s Simple Perfection

written by: Jane Bradshaw

Desert roses – lacy pink and white
Colours dimmed only by the night
Growing wild – no leaves – just perfect flowers
Living by the sea – imbuing their powers

Wallabies – big and small – around they scout
A big boy is glaring – watch out
A mother – pouch scraping the ground
Her little baby scurrying around

Peacocks – the males strutting – so beautiful
Blue – like sapphires – looking for a mate who’s suitable
Plain and nondescript – females chasing – desiring
Looking – wanting – and transpiring

The ocean – majestic and soothing – sublime
In the heat of the day – it cools the sunshine
A myriad of colours – mixing blues and greens
Something so beautiful – a sight to be seen.
