Fajita Night

Fajita Night

written by: Andy Bates

Forget Michelin stars or haute cuisine
I’m staying in for a Mexican dream
She’s my culinary señorita
You don’t get better than Jade’s fajitas

Romano reds with flamenco flare
Chopped up chorizo – it’s a love affair
Longed for by death row bandidas
You don’t get better than Jade’s fajitas

¡Olé, olé! She’s cooking tonight
The air’s on fire with jalapeño bite
Bin the Sunday roast – frisbee the pizzas
You don’t get better than Jade’s fajitas

A mariachi band plays on my tongue
mi cocinerita can’t go wrong
Queen of the spice – I’m her humble eater
You don’t get better than Jade’s fajitas

Five-star chefs? They’d crawl for a taste
All that training gone to waste
Cos love ain’t served with avant-garde theatre
It’s wrapped up hot in one of Jade’s fajitas

So keep your trends
You food elite-ers
You don’t get better than Jade’s fajitas
