Waiting Game

 Waiting Game

written by: Krystal Adams Pezzulo

I’ve spent so much time
Saying maybe later
Saying the timing isn’t right
Saying maybe I’ll start tomorrow
I’ve been playing a waiting game
I’ve been watching life pass me by
I’ve been playing it safe
Waiting for the perfect opportunity
Waiting for everything to simply
Fall into place

But now the waiting is over
Now is the time for action
Now is the time to stop waiting
For fear that I may actually succeed
