That night when the stars brightened,
And the sheen of silvery glow,
Pierced all protective layers,
I died,
But I was born again to be alive,
The fire of pain has stopped smoldering,
And fear has turned into ash,
And become new today, different I.
Ewelina Maria Bugajska-Javorka was born in Poland, and now lives permanently in Denmark. She attended high school of economics and university of philosophy. An author of four poetry books. She has published her first book at the age of 17. Her poems can be found in many international anthologies. She is a laureate of many international awards. A member of the Union of Writers of the World.
