Darkness

Darkness

written by: Eliza Segiet

translated by: Ula de B.

There,
where children
are hiding from the attacks of hatred
instead of playing hide and seek

taste is being lost
from colorful childhood.

Callings for help,
understanding and normalcy
is unheard of.
Silent blood
does not incite mercy,
albeit backdrop of ruins
its distinctive color
should holler:

Everyone has just one,
one way journey into the darkness.
