Lost Sight

Lost Sight

written by: Brad Osborne

Envying those who have more
We lose sight of how to give
And in the race to be like them
We lose sight of how to live

In the want to be pedestalled
We lose sight of the ledge we climb
Shiny bobbles to keep us fooled
We lose sight of how precious time

When wealth is all we idolize
We lose sight of just who we are
When looking down from up above
We lose sight of our guiding star

And here lies man’s great tragedy
For there is more in life to find
Having sight does not mean we see
When we choose to remain so blind
