An Earth Day Renegade

An Earth Day Renegade

Elon Musk, what hubris you display to our tearful eyes,
When you eject SpaceX unspent fuel
to befoul our skies.

As if that weren’t enough you blew up your Starship space craft,
Raining all the rocket debris down upon our earth!

Money that could feed the world and reduce climate change,
You squandered on failed rocket ships
Destroyed for reasons strange.

Then you relaunch this disaster as a success,
By contriving that your control centre applaud your mess.

Remember a few years ago when into orbit you sent
Your Tesla cherry-red roadster as a publicity stunt.

The problem is our planet simply cannot tolerate,
All the space garbage you launch or incinerate.

You really are incorrigible from getting so much joy.
From breaking things you can’t repair, you naughty little boy!
