And Away We Go

And Away We Go

Upon a path I know so well
For once again, the Wheel of Life

Spins my world upside down
After a spell of good luck

It seems all is crumbling
Falling to tiny motes of dust

Breath bated waiting for the final blow
Sending life into a tornado of destruction

Which makes me wonder,
What bad deeds await atonement?

Have I not paid in full?
Losing the ones I held dearest

Not even after all these years
Does Karma appear to be satisfied
