At The Eye of The Storm

At The Eye of The Storm

written by: Tea Solon

i met you. clad in golden
wounds with one eye gone
and calcified bones broken

you pulled out the garb of
oaken splinters from my body
and staple wires from my lips.

cow car tree boulder stirred
above us. river stone wood
wind eddied around us as

we held onto each other.
