Autumn’s Quilt

Autumn’s Quilt

Glittering Citron, crispy ginger
waltz through a teal atmosphere.
Moonstones mirror glint,
constellations begin to chrome,
sunset winks.
The light of old folds,
Moon blooms louder…
Brightness spills over her blank morrow.
Astral silk looms Autumn’s quilt,
A short tick. A long tock…
The karmic conductor taps,
a sweetshop multicoloured show.
Rust leaves rimmed mustard
Turfs matted turmeric, moss slashed sorrel.
Her aura…copper Cosmos
The ochre diva, Autumn’s songwriter,
Goddess of October.
