Dawn of Spring

Dawn of Spring

Fir trees sway the evening breeze,
murmurs of Spring’s startled fledglings
ripple through dancing gusts.
A lilac silken scarf hangs…
like a mist over a lovely sunny day.

The Sun spins as a golden ball of satin,
skies laced scarlet…an untouched womb.
Fresh blossomed stars seek maiden’s flamed flower,
poppy seeds erupt near purple waters,
perfumed wombs retreat…
as a Golden Eagle soars dawning skies.
