Black Tongue

Black Tongue

written by: Munthaha

I talk, too much
Opinionated and impulsive
I love, too hard
Crazed and obsessive
But no that’s psychotic
Normal is what they want.

Conceal don’t feel, don’t let her out.

I blink a couple thousand times
while snapping my fingers for a dime.
Will it change?
Or am I supposed to breathe what you breathe.

Your black soul can taint
but my black tongue must paint.
What a world designed for the abuser.
What a facade to tell her it’ll get better.

No thank you, much obliged. But I’d rather obsess than exploit, talk than be complacent.
