Bottoms of a Palm Garden

written by: Aliyu Umar Muhammad

And like time, we are etched to the core – stretches
The feet – places roads & journeys & man

I hold the steam & water – in its cumbersome
Fair flows – awaken to the earth’s prime & say

We’re displaced out of rough holes – take out my body
There are more war songs & time, will bend the knuckles.
