Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem

I love you like a flaming rose
whose heart is flaming red
It reminds me of my passionate heart
Bleeding till it’s dead.

I know now why a flower dies,
It knows not how to live a lie,
When the day is done
The sun is gone,
It says adieu …and bids goodbye.

The petals that is another’s hold
Has outreached its scope
To be so bold,
That is why my love I cry,
‘Carpe diem’, and then I die.
