Demons Unto Angels Die

Demons Unto Angels Die

written by: Matthew Sweatt

For we are all damned
I have looked and seen
Death upon dreams
Those who have knelt and cried
Shaking their fists at the sky
Weary and forsaken crying out “Why”?
Suffer no more at length
All of you damned lend me your strength
Cast out your old world
Throw away your pain unfurled
Together our shoulders to lean
Will be all that we need
No more sorrow
No more wishing upon tomorrow
Are you ready?
Keep yourself steady
With everything your being can scream
Blast living hell into evil no more will it scheme
When it done, rejoice let your soul fly
Look upon all the other damned
Because now we die.
