He bumped into death
Who gasped aloud
And ripped the man’s soul
Right from his mouth
Then Death bumped into me,
Caught my eye,
Said “terribly sorry”
And walked on by
I like to write poems that will hopefully bring about a solid (even if temporary) flash of joy to a reader.
