Eve of Halloween

Don’t mind the groans, crackling of a few bones,
Since ages, a burden few men have borne,
A brute force tonight moves underneath their skin,
A curse passed on by ancestors and to their kin,
Some respond to the call of all hallows moon,
To howl, to hunt in a pack of ravaging platoons,
Tonight, you will see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
Beware where you tumble on the night of the thirty-first,
The rats undergrounds are vampiric with bloodlust,
The crows act ghoulish; they appear kind of sick,
They seem to be pecking; it’s your eyes; they want to pick,
An air of unease tonight spreads across nature,
Beware, if you stumble upon the flesh-eating creepers,
Tonight, you will see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
This night you may hear a beautiful maiden song,
But try not to listen; you can’t resist it for long,
You may get lured by the seductive voice of the mistress,
She is the evil grabber; some call her the night temptress,
She can trap your soul in her infinitely dark playlist,
If enslaved to her will, your humanity will cease to exist,
Tonight, you must see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
Is your house full of tiny dents and little cracks?
Fill them up quickly before they can come back,
They seep through your wall as thick blackish water,
Slouching towards you, it’s your vessel; they are after,
Viscous and vicious, slimy sneaky attackers,
Not sure if they are Aliens or body snatchers,
Tonight, you have to see all that’s unseen,
As the veils lift on the eve of Halloween!
There is a twisted tale of meat-eating mad cows,
They appear on the eve, breaking the sacred vows,
Whether an unholy curse or a zombie-like disease,
The cattle turn aggressive; they can bite your every piece,
So, avoid the crazy bovine; what if you get bitten,
To either turn to Undead or to get eaten,
Tonight, you will see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
Don’t go into narrow lanes or the lonely crossroads,
These are the areas satanic witches usually forbade,
Husk dolls and strange Siegels, part of their sermon,
Tonight, they desire to appease the wish-granting demons,
Some dark magic, where an animal won’t suffice,
They look for human bait for the ultimate sacrifice,
Tonight, you must see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
The human serial monsters, they can still get killed,
But what if our killer neither gets hurt nor even bleeds,
There is a story of a butcher, a ruthless Tulpa form,
A thought provoked evil, breaking physical norms,
The more you tell its story, the more it gets the power,
Appearing this night to kill, then mysteriously disappear,
Tonight, you shall see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
Don’t be brave and go for a deep forest adventure,
You will regret even the spooky graveyard venture,
A crimson mist rises in the woods, every Halloween night,
Led by shadowy ghouls that can give you a hellish fright,
Something happens to birds as if their minds can’t decide,
Smashing themselves on gravestones, staging a mass suicide,
Tonight, you must see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
The deceiving goblins ride the back of giant fireflies,
Never trust the wispy light; they can be tricky and vile,
About the wee folks, don’t ever be mistaken,
They all are not gentle; they are God-forsaken,
The stone-ringed fairy circle may open up a portal,
They wait to play deadly pranks on the weak mortals,
Tonight, you will see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
This one night can break all supernatural limits,
Giving a free pass to roam to all kinds of entities,
So, watch out for a whisper or a cold touch on your hand,
Maybe a ghostly apparition is just hanging behind,
Keep your eyes still, also watch closely at the sky,
For strange aerial lights, winged cryptids that can fly,
Tonight, you shall see all that’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
Are you scared and trembling with perspiration?
Don’t worry; the warning about tonight is a tradition,
Darkness can surround without any safe pattern,
Feel protected under the glow of a carved jack-o-lantern,
The lore of Samhain, the spirit of Halloween,
Can both trick or treat, in the circumstances unforeseen,
Tonight, is all about what’s unseen,
As the veil lifts on the eve of Halloween!
