Fragments of the Past, A Pleasurable Shattering

Giving a warm embrace soothes the souls that ache.
Tears that long to drip, your eyes shall they fall clean.
Truth shall behold and the love remains as fake.
It shall set you free, the cost of your own screen.

Tears that long to drip, your eyes shall they fall clean.
How lovely will you be, departing from pain.
It shall set you free, the cost of your own screen.
But the thought of agony keeps you sane.

How lovely will you be, departing from pain.
Such sweet mem’ries – they are simply forgotten.
But the thought of agony keeps you sane.
It is entwined – what was meant to be broken.

Such sweet mem’ries – they are simply forgotten.
Left with nothing, out of it, what can you make?
It is entwined – what was meant to be broken.
Giving a warm embrace soothes the souls that ache.

I hope anyone who reads this that felt the pain of loss may find solace in their life.
