Humanity Lost

Humanity Lost

written by: Mooch Simon

With humanity lost behind bars,
torture and terror open doors for injustice
as the fatigued -day goes to sleep.
To let prisoners know that they are more than guilty,
they are introduced to different chambers
of a slow death.

Voices lost.
Their cries turn to nightmares
in those dark cells.
Those cells whose thirst is quenched with blood.
Prisoners see the brutality slowly pushing them to their graves.

We condemn our shadows
That we know not
The difference is that similarity
We are all evil.

Agony taps them by the shoulders.
To commit suicide,
It whispers gently.

Smashing our souls on the walls,
We inhale prison darkness.

Prison is a designed coffin to delay death.
