Immersed and drowning in your daily cyber-space filled, monotonous, algorithmic existence
Blinkered and unaware of the natural beauty of this world, as you are sucked ever deeper into your subscribed, digital land of make believe
Hypnotised by the blue screen, caught in a dark webbed alter reality, the spider of mental ill-health readies her strike
A cloned and enslaved biproduct of technology, a directionless child of Facebook, Twitter, Tik-Tok and Instagram
Break free of your poisonous digital chains, switch off, and return to the natural light, the beauty, awe, and reality of this world
Stephen has had a love of writing and poetry from an early age, influenced by his travels. Now he is focused on several key areas, mental health and bereavement, Scottish history and landscapes and social outcomes. He lives in a small town called Buckie in the Northeast of Scotland. He hopes one day to publish a poetry anthology charting his own mental health from its lowest point, through recovery on to living a happy and healthy lifestyle, in order to help other who maybe suffering in silence.
