Call to the world
Announcing the arrival of the sun
Tides meander in the peace of predawn
Ever changing
Yet remaining the same
Each imperceptible moment can be lost
Unless I stop to listen to the silence
Making peace with itself
Gillie, an English poet and Solo sailor, is sailing her little sailing yacht around the world a very slow circumnavigation. Many poems are a reflection of living afloat, as well as being loved, losing love, living an adventurous life, and being in the "Autumn " of her life.
