Late Summer

Late Summer

written by: Jan Smith

Late summer breeze, gently
catching dandelion wishes,
so many hopes and dreams…
Butterfly wings of bright white,
their delicate last dance
before the season’s change
Shadows grow a little longer,
sun and shade in perfect harmony
on such a delightful late summer day…
