Late Summer

Late Summer

Late summer breeze, gently
catching dandelion wishes,
so many hopes and dreams…
Butterfly wings of bright white,
their delicate last dance
before the season’s change
Shadows grow a little longer,
sun and shade in perfect harmony
on such a delightful late summer day…

I have recently started writing poetry, through my work and academic training I gained knowledge and a passion for the written word. Much of my writings are reflections, thoughts and observations of my personal journey of self-discovery.
