Learning From The Waves

As I stand on the beach
Waves wash my feet
They go back and forth
As if to teach
That nothing stays forever
Nothing is permanent
Keep moving, keep pushing yourself
Learning a lesson from each moment
You may or may not realize your dreams
Destiny may have other plans for you
Keep trying
That’s what matters
Up and down… life goes on
Like crests and troughs in a wave
Face each day as a new one
Keep shining and be brave
