Marine Maiden

Full moon
lights up a little black robe
which the Heavenly vault has placed upon himself
that beautiful ornament
it sleeps in the cradle of peace.
NEVER CARED THAT HIS REFLECTION WAS TORN APART ON A SEA MIRROR,
AS A HOLY BREAD ON THE MOST SACRED SACRIFICE,
it snows peacefully
sailing ships to the open sea,
and a marine maiden
sitting on a coral reef
where salted seafoam hits,
is singing her lament
for her beloved missing sailor!

Morska Djeva

Pun mjesec
obasjava malu crnu halju
koju je nebeski svod navukao na se,
taj predivan ures
sniva u kolijevki mira.
NIMALO NE MAREĆI ŠTO NJEGOV ODRAZ RASPUKNUT NA MORSKOM OGLEDALU,
KAO HOSTIJA NA NAJSVETIJOJ ŽRTVI,
nemirno se ljuljuška
ispraćajući lađe na pučinu.
A morska djeva,
što sjedi na koraljnom grebenu
u kojeg slana morska pjena udara,
pjeva jadikovku
za voljenog nestalog joj mornara.
