Me and I

written by: Tinashe Muza

Am I I?
Is this me?
Who else would it be?
Oh no but oh yes
But I didn’t think so
Hello I, do you know me?
Close your eyes for a moment
Do you see I?
I thought so
Then search for I because without me
You’re a blizzard without snow
A train without a rail
A shirt without buttons
And a void with everything
Oh, you found I
Then it is we
We are now whole for nothing can annihilate our bond
