My Heaven for You

 My Heaven for You

written by: Anna Christeena

I’ve made a heaven for you in my mind.

In this heaven, your heart is still.
Your mind, unburdened.
Your soul, free—
bathed in peace so pure,
it wraps around you like warm light.
You can’t help but smile.
You are joy. You are ease.
You are home.

You watch your life unfold like a film,
a quiet playback of all you were—
the laughter, the sorrow,
the moments that made you feel infinite,
and the ones that nearly broke you.
You see it all now—
the beauty, the mess,
the love you gave freely,
the things you lived for,
the things you lost.
And for the first time—
it all makes sense.

In my heaven,
you release.
You forgive.
You let go.
Your heart- light as a feather,
untouched by time or grief.
There are no regrets here.
No ache of longing.
No heavy echoes of “what if.”
Only peace. Only grace.

And when you look down
and see me—
struggling to make sense of my existence without you,
carrying the weight of your absence,
stumbling through questions
with no answers—
you don’t feel sorrow.

You feel love.

Your smile is soft,
your gaze full of knowing,
and your heart—
overflowing with hope.
Because you know:
one day, I’ll understand too.
One day,
it will all make sense to me,
just as it did for you.

In my heaven, I hope you are
And when it’s my turn,
I’ll run to you—
just a soul returning home.

And together,
we’ll sit in the light,
watch it all again,
and finally—
finally—
understand why it had to be this way.
