My Ideal Life

My Ideal Life

written by: Rutuja

Just like every other person on this planet even I have imagined how my ideal life should be. And like many of you, I live it just, in my thoughts! In my ideal life, I want to be “tum raho ya na raho, kya fark hai” kinda a person but, I’m “abhi na chod kar” types. I wish my life was like a book! So that I can read what will happen further and Skip the sad phases (just the way we do with boring chapters). Revisit happy moments any time I want. Delete the people I hate just like we tear the messed pages from a diary or a book! Well, I wish such crazy things because I’m a cursed overthinker! I mean every part of mine moves on but damn! A lazy heart of mine is an exception. It’s broken beyond repairs but still loves to stay at a place where it will never heal. It keeps searching for the melodies in the space where words are not worth the echoes! I wish I could convince my heart to say it’s okay and move on!
If my ideal life ever turns to reality, it will be all about traveling the entire world! I want to wander, steal the light from stars to brighten up my life, and calmness from the moon just to heal myself. I want to steal music from that wind blowing on mountains because this day, life is running a bit off-tune! I want to change myself every time I change the destination. Because it’s important to explore different shades of yourself. It’s kind of fun to change identity every time and live many lives in one! I want to collect stories from each part of this world. Because we die but stories live forever and we are nothing but the stories that we create so even we live forever! And I don’t mean any number when I say my stories will live forever because I don’t mind even if my story and my forever come with a certain lifespan. I want to live forever in numbered days!
