Night Eyes

an Anne G original poem

I prowl the darkness with night eyes

Explore the vast and infinite skies

Passing moonbeams

Shooting stars

Twinkling canvas

Universe

Beacon in the passing night

Light that guides me

To my star

One I'll follow

Until the end

Dreams and hope

Faith and trust

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
