Orange Hues

Orange Hues

written by: Rayna More

Don’t be cold.
Sit beside the fire,
With me.

I see the orange flames
in your eyes.
I watch you spread your wings.

You look warm,
don’t sit too close.

Lean back
and rub your hands,
Like this.

Stars twinkle,
River gurgles,
Flames crackle.

The reflection of the fire
on your skin,
Like gold.
