Pandemic Summer

Pandemic Summer

written by: Mary Bone

Our pandemic summer
kept us in.
What a bummer!
The birds still sang.
The flowers kept blooming.
We were inside, just fuming.
Petals and leaves fell from nearby trees.
Everyone was ready
for a fresh, cool breeze.
