Paths

Paths

written by: Francisc Edmund Balogh

You sheltered inside your heart
the crossroads of the wind- the crossroad of the migrating birds,
the corridor of the labyrinth where the dark clouds followed the birds,
the path for spring to leave its den,
one end of the crumbling stone bridge of our love,
the soft flow of the river like beautiful hair over the shoulders of Mother Earth,
the horizon where the river kisses the sea,
the roots of verses that reach deep…
the irrefutable trajectory of the flight of the butterfly,
the turning point on the palm line of God — Time,
the dream-like short life span of the morning dew drop.
