Plea To My Son

You have so much in the world to see,
explore, enjoy and venture in life.
As you tread your life to your destiny.
Bring with you my sweet plea.
Never be afraid to commit mistakes.
For in mistakes, you improve your ways.
Don’t worry much about life’s ordeal.
Just make sure you undertake a right deal.
Don’t hurry much to get material riches.
Instead, focus on everlasting gifts.
Give to the world your best.
Trust God, let Him do the rest.
A teacher and educator at heart. An Outstanding School Principal from the Phils. Awarded 'Superintendent Award' as a Teacher Coach in Science-Quiz Bee, Gr.6 Category, National level in 2006. Transformed least performing schools to Best Performing Schools. A lecturer, speaker and mentor to students, teachers and parents. Writing is just a wonderful find in my being. Authored "Gratefully Yours" -1st book on poetry in 2019. Joined poetry groups in June 2020 and received multiple awards from Honorary Awards to, 'Poet of the Fortnight', Award of Excellence, Diamond Inkers, Gold Quill Awards, featured as Poet of the Day, Best Poem of the Day, etc. Thankful to all inspiring poetry groups who acknowledged my writing in the global arena.
