Promises, that still haunt me like the grey ghosts of our future deeds,
Planted in a fertile mind and left to grow as if angry seeds;

Promises, yet to be remembered from another and altogether happier time,
Played out relentlessly through jagged broken dreams, assuaged only by fine wine.

Jouées sans relâche à travers des rêves brisés et déchiquetés, apaisées seulement par du bon vin.
